The most amazing performance of 2011.
Don’t worry. No spoilers.
Giancarlo Esposito as Gustavo Fring on ‘Breaking Bad’ this season was like watching a coiled snake.
His character caused more tension and scares than all of this year’s ‘Walking Dead’ episodes combined, and it was unnerving.
Every time he was onscreen, he stole the show.
By the time you got through it all you were rooting for him before realizing with a cold slap of dialogue (“I will kill your infant daughter,)” that a TELEVISION character just charmed you.
I don’t know if it was planned, but his scenes in the first episode and then in the last episode were both “OH MY GOD, REWIND THAT!” moments.
When the Emmy’s are handed out, if anyone other than Giancarlo wins, the winner needs to graciously hand it to him anyway.
I know it’s next to impossible to keep things secret on Tumblr, but if you haven’t started watching ‘Breaking Bad,’ hit up Netflix streaming.
It’s worth it. (Just ask Elizabite.)
Also, please don’t post spoilers in the comments. Everyone deserves the wide open jaw disbelief of this year’s season finale.

Seconded a dozen times over. Every episode of season 4 felt like a season finale — that’s how spectacular the show has been written and produced.
